My father brother and I need to buy this book for anyone that plans to be in a close relationship with us. The three of us are a walking archives for useless facts. While that is not a bad thing, our habit of correcting anyone wrongly citing one of those facts is. I’m sure you know how annoying that can be. We know it too. That doesn’t stop us from doing it.

If you have someone in your life that does this sort of thing there is something you should know. Most of us (annoying fact keepers) are not correcting you to belittle you or prove you wrong. We do it because we love you. No, really. We don’t want you telling someone else the “fact” you know if you are wrong. We wouldn’t want someone else to think you are uneducated or stupid. We love you so we want you to know the correct information about your “fact”. We’re not being condescending. We’re loving you. True story.
