My son saw this accident last night. It sounds horrible. He thought that the 4 ambulances, 3 firetrucks and the helicopter looked awesome. That’s all he was concerned with. He is a boy, afterall. And a Buddhist. Death is a transition to him, not a tragedy.

For me though, I can’t stop thinking of the grief this family is feeling. I hope the children are recover. I hope they don’t remember seeing the woman laying dead next to them. Their little minds should not have to find a way to deal with see that. I wish I could hold them and release their pain. Those poor babies.
